Who would you vote for for Nairobi Governor’s post? For voters in Nairobi, you have a chance to take Kenya into an elevated level. You choice for a Nairobi Governor is very important not only for Nairobi city residents but also for the whole country and Africa.

According to Wikipedia, Nairobi is one of the most prominent cities in Africa politically and financially. Home to thousands of Kenyan businesses and over 100 major international companies and organisations, including the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the main coordinating and headquarters for the UN in Africa & Middle East, the United Nations Office in Nairobi (UNON), Nairobi is an established hub for business and culture. The list goes on!

Now, you understand why there is need for being careful when electing a Nairobi Governor.

For some of us, the party of choice will determine who to vote for. Others have another approach, ethnic affiliation could carry the day, and minority would vote for the person who can deliver the interests of Kenyans and more so the Nairobi county residents.

Should we forget about what Nairobi is for Kenya and Africa as whole? We have three people vying for Nairobi gubernatorial post. In this three, we should start thinking of the quality of leadership these people can offer for Kenyans and our foreign friends. If we go by social class, we might blander somewhere along the line and end up regretting making such a terrible mistake.

In Kenya we like fighting for change but when the chance comes our way to make it happen, we fight it back with anything at our disposal. Especially when it comes to political choices, we are so blinded by fear of change that we cannot evade this trap.

The race is on for those who want to make  Nairobi county a better place and those who wants to remain is current status.  Remember, the wiser your choice is… the higher the chances of making a worthy change for Kenya and the continent of Africa.
